Taking charge of our personal health requires some motivation and access to information. (Are you interested?). The good news and bad news is that no one manages your self-care as well as you do. The bad news is you have to do some work. The good news is it doesn’t have to be hard.
Which parts of the quadrangle do you think you could improve?
A few questions to consider about 2024:
Did you make sleep a priority? What obstacles did you face?
Were you mindful about what you ate? Did you eat more whole foods or processed foods? How much protein did you eat most days?
How many days did you see the sunrise or set? How often did you take a walk outside? What barriers did you face?
How many days did you move regularly through the day ( interrupt sitting regularly)? How many days did you devote more than 30 minutes to exercise?
What questions would be more meaningful for your life/ daily responsibilities?

Thanksgiving Day has so many special aspects that highlight how much we have to be grateful for. You get to pick your focus- family, friends, football, feast, foliage and so much more. It is easy to get swept up in the planning, or to feel sadness if something from the past is no more- Taking a few moments to get quiet, and focus on what is going right can turn that around.
