Do you remember what feeling peaceful inside is like?
It can be a challenge in our always connected world, with endless news and opinions.
It is easy (and dangerous) to get caught up in the news and opinion cycle and have our spirits captured.
It can also be Simple to return to a Place of inner Peace.
Many approaches are available- with low or no $$ or time cost. A few you could try:
Think about a piece of music that makes you smile and breathe easily. Listen for 5 or more minutes and notice how you feel.
Gaze at someone you love- in person or a photo, and remember positive things.
There are many meditations available on line that can help with focus- let me know if you would like suggestions for these.
YOU have the power to shift your perspective and improve your health.
Take the time to nurture relationships and establish new ones. It's easy to let time slip by and lose touch.. We support our communities and they support us
Nature follows cycles whether we are watching or not. These salmon know where they are going. I invite you to sit mindfully with them , and if you wish, share what that is like.
A dear friend is helping others with significant challenges today, and this is posted for her,
and for you.
Our Deepest Fear
By Marianne Williamson
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness
That most frightens us.
We ask ourselves
Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small
Does not serve the world.
There's nothing enlightened about shrinking
So that other people won't feel insecure around you.
We are all meant to shine,
As children do.
We were born to make manifest
The glory of God that is within us.
It's not just in some of us;
It's in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine,
We unconsciously give other people permission to do the same.
As we're liberated from our own fear,
Our presence automatically liberates others.
